January 7, 2008 ~ Billings MT

Once we were done loading our items into the crates at Audrey's, Rog and I drove into Billings to the Con-Way freight yard, the company who would transport the crates to Seattle for shipping to Alaska.

Love the rocky cliffs and bluffs in Montana - we don't have this in Alaska.
Taken from the Con-Way freight yard

Rog attaches the crate lids

Scrap metal yard behind the Con-Way yard - it was interesting watching the magnetic equipment move the pieces of metal round

Rog concentrates on attaching the final storage box lid

Removing the first - and lighter - crate

Where our crates will enventually end up

Dragging out the heavier crate

Can't really tell by this photo, but the crate is really tipsy on the forklift - kept rocking to and fro while the driver transported it into the warehouse
