Here it is - the final day of our trip! It certainly didn't turn out as originally planned, but we ended up having an enjoyable time sight-seeing around Seattle and visiting with friends Lance & Galena and their daughter, Kristy.
Originally, we were supposed to take the plane from Billings to Seattle, layover for a short time and then catch another plane to Juneau, where we had intended to spend a 7-hour layover doing some sight-seeing (I was born there), then catching a plane to Anchorage, arriving around 10:30 pm. HOWEVER...due to severe weather in Juneau, our flight was cancelled and we had to reschedule - instead, leaving Seattle at 11:10 pm and arriving in Anchorage around 2:00 am.
Consequently, we rented a car, visited with some friends and got to browse Pike's Street Market and the Seattle Center (Space Needle, Science Center)!
Jen's baby album - in storage for 11 years. She's been looking for this for more than a year, not realizing we had packed it away in Colorado. I surprised her with it the night we returned! The view from our seats - we had front-row seats on the flight from Billings to Seattle. It was a very small jet - see following photo!
See how small the jet was? Here, Rog is waiting for his other piece of carry-on luggage

While in Seattle, we visited with good friend Lance Betz - he and his wife Galena have bought this 100 year old apartment building and are renovating it into new apartments. THe following nine photos are from our visit at that building.
